Kessler said he's not interested in a Dre rematch.
In case Froch wins this Saturday he has Ward as mandatory...
Ward would like to hear from Hearn about a huge purse in order to cross the channel...

great move by ward...hopefully he inspires other wbc belt holders to dump the belt to put pressure on the organization so they revise their rules...or otherwise risk more *****s in their armor of already declining credibility

Truth is the prospect of fighting Bika again is too ghastly to contemplate.

Exactly cause Ward has already gone through Biki and it is on to bigger and better things.

People don't care about titles anymore period. Look at Saturday, nobody cares that the IBF title wasn't on the line. Lucas should be a champion right now but we couldn't give two ****s.

I would to hear what those better things are. I actually agree but idk what Ward is gonna do at 168 right now. He's kinda stuck in a bad spot.

I hope he gets back in the ring soon. He's lost a lot of time because of injuries.

Ward is attending the fight, so he can ask him in person should Froch win.

Respect to André Ward here. WBC's decision to strip him was always odd. By relinquishing the emeritus tag, Ward likely leaves behind some money if he ever wants to challenge for the WBC belt again given the fact that an emeritus champion is entitled to 50% of the purse when fighting the champion.

Since few fighters actually leaves money behind (and who can blame them) this move is quite indicative of Ward not planning to stay at SMW much longer. My guess is that he will have a comeback fight and then a fight with the Kessler/Froch winner if the money is right, or else he's a 175 lb'er from now on basically.
