I'm glad Andre spoke up and did this. Look forward to his return to domination.

Brilliant stance taken by Ward, gotta applaud this. It would be good if some of the other champs stood up to these 'sanctioning' bodies.

nice words from the champ...look up this Periban & he's fought absolutely no 1 of consequence..,since WBC is "giving" him the interim title; may b Ward goes 2 160 & ko's Jr, wouldn't that be something???

Andre Ward never takes risks like that...
He's not even fought away from home once!
When you mention the fact everyone in the super six middleweight tournament did bar Andre Ward, it makes Ward look like a spoilt brat who's having everything his own way.

SOG is the best super middleweight in the world and he doesn't need a belt at this point. Every fighter knows they need to beat Andre to be considered the best at 168. I'm happy he said no way, Jose (Sulaiman).

I think it was wrong what the WBC is trying to do to Ward. Im glad he dumped them. I hope Canelo dumps the WBC belt too. He is a two belt holder but per the wbc rules he will have to drop the WBA belt of be stripped. Even though Garcia has held two belts since June of last year. He hasnt been stripped yet.

Good statement from ward still think he should face Dawson's at light heavy weight and whoop him there too he could come back and get that belt and at 175 anytime he wants it ain't nobody in them two divisions can beat him.

Easy decision, he won't want to fight Bika again. Rematching the Kessler v Froch winner is the clear path to go down and hope In the mean time JCC moves up.

Not many roads for Andre tbh. GGG at 168 perhaps? Even then, GGG is hardly a draw.
