Surprising to see votes in favour of a Kessler KO.

      Carl froch v Kessler-the full break down.PREVIEW.

50 50 fight to be honest. I don't like the fact most pundits are picking froch. This happened with Haye v wlad and look what happened.

Anyhow, I felt froch won the first fight, he fought on the back foot and did the better quality work, but at the same time didn't follow up his attacks. Where as Kessler was always busier. Always, especially to the body.

If you watch round 4 and 5, froch was ,as Richie woodhall put it, admiring his shots. Especially round 5, where he stepped back, which is fine. But literally moon walked away and celebrated his work.wtf??

But to be honest, I was disappointed with froch from the Abraham fight onwards. I thought he was to concerned about looking slick and stylish and forgot what hes best at and that's punching relentlessly, and at a very powerful rate.

Froch imo did better against ward than people make out. Im sorry but I gave it four rounds to ward, froch landed some good shots, Froch did zero inside practice, and was poor anyhow. And one of the judges in America gave it 2 rounds to ward. So imo its an urban myth he got schooled, comprehensively beaten yes, but schooled no.

Kessler imo is the betters choice, almost 2-1 to win, and almost 3-1 to win on points. With this being a coin toss, bias aside I would bet on Kessler. There is no evidence hes declined. Please show me where the evidence is???. Wow he got a knock down v allan green. But froch got a flash knock downed by taylor earlier on in his career.

His power looks very good since his detached retina has recovered, and had koed everyone in sight, and imo the allan green ko is one of the best knock outs ive ever seen.

He got schooled v ward, but bare in mind Kessler was fighting ward in America, and had his fists and his billy goat gruff head to fight against. Could the scarring be key in this fight, bare in mind he opened up in the first froch Kessler fight???

Prediction, I do not have a clue, but for the fact that the odds are so good for Kessler, id bet on him. IM there live, so obviously I will be rooting for froch.

      May the best man win.

I think the obvious pick is Froch taking a close points win but like you I am on the fence & see it as a genuine 50/50.

I felt Froch started well in the first fight and was boxing nicely behind the jab but I also feel Kessler adapted and had a lot of success to the body which slowed Froch down! He was landing those right hands to the body almost at will.
Normally I would go with who I feel is the slightly better technician & the guy who made the necessary adjustments in the first fight and that is Kessler but I think if its close the win will go to Froch.

I am stuck on this fight, I like both guys and don't mind who wins I am just happy for the rematch and can't wait for what will be another great fight between two of the sports best. May the best man win!

              Kessler by stoppage. Reasoning...body punches.

50/50. Just hoping to witness a classic with ideally a Froch win.

I have no idea why so many Froch fans are saying Kessler could (or will) win by stoppage or a SD/MD; it's like they're trying to promote the fight.

Firstly, their first fight gave us no indication that Kessler had the power to stop Froch (stun him? Yes; wobble or legitimately hurt him? No). Second, there is no way Kessler takes a decision in London, England against the hometown fighter, let alone a close decision (unless of course Froch get's dropped two or three times or Kessler wins 9 or more rounds clearly, which isn't happening).

It's also worth noting that Kessler's chin hasn't looked good lately as he was recently hurt and dropped by bum Allan Green. If anything I expect Froch to win by a 116-112 type decision or a mid-to late round stoppage. Even if this fight were to mirror the last one, the judges would give it to Froch via close decision.

I think the reasoning is that Kessler may fight similarly but start faster this time out. I feel its certainly a possibility. I don't think there is one outcome in this fight that would genuinely surprise me. Its an intriguing fight and I don't feel much separates them.
Allan Green as mediocre as he is can punch I wouldn't read too much into it.
