Lucas is tailor made for Floyd at 147, Canelo at 154 is a much tougher fight. I'd imagine that Floyd would face Lucas instead of Canelo next if the general public clamors for the match up given that it is a far easier fight.

Why do you IDIOTS keep saying floyd fights at 154? He's fought 2 fights out of 44 at the 154lb limit and walked in the ring at 150lbs. He's as much a Junior middleweight as Josesito Lopez is! He basically beat CAREER WELTERWEIGHTS AT THE JUNIOR MIDDLEWEIGHT CLASS. Neither of his opponents (cotto & de la hoya) were CAREER JUNIOR MIDDLEWEIGHTS. Thats why It wasn't much of a risk, but those were two of floyd's most lackluster performances in his whole career. Both fights represented a ****load of money (25M for Oscar & 40M for cotto) with a calculated risk. Canelo holds no leverage so if he wants the fight he has to bend over and take it in the back. Who needs who to fulfill their legacy?
