The thing is, it's not even the Matthysse fans spewing the rubbish, it's the regular Pacquiao spit bucket club again. Lucas Matthysse is a good boxer with some serious power in his punches. I'd like to see him carve a career rather than throw him in the meat grinder to satisfy some rabid "boxing" fans. A couple more good wins between now and say, 18 months time make this an even better fight for both fighters.

As for the Pacquiao spit bucket club, don't worry, he'll be fighting again soon and you'll have something to be positive about again. The sooner the better as some of you are starting get worrying.

Take care of Garcia first, knock him out and Oscar will put Lucas in front of Floyd. I would like to see Lucas against the winner of JMM/Bradley fight, low probability but that's what I want to see or the Pacman/Lucas. Not really a smart thing to fight Floyd right now.

Its funny because I bet the same people that said that Peterson would beat Lucas by possible Ko are saying Floyd would pick Lucas apart. Shows that you guys are very ignorant in boxing. Lets be honest. Lucas is way better and smarter than Guerrero. He has more stamina than Cotto. Cotto almost beat Mayweather. Floyd doesnt stand a chance against Lucas unless he clinches and runs and slap boxes like Peterson, zab, and Alexander do.

I thought Lucas would beat the hell out of and stop Peterson, and I think Floyd will win every second of every round against Lucas and make him look amateurish (like he did to an undefeated Corrales, Marquez, Guerrero, undefeated Hatton, etc.). I don't even think Lucas would have beat the prime Hatton that Mayweather faced. You seem pretty ignorant when it comes to boxing. Since when is Zab Judah a slap-boxer?
