Perceived threat? Are you kidding? He fought Mosley after his destruction of Margarito, when Pac wanted nothing to do with him, even at 142.

Your power is impressive, but your punches are slow and wide. Also, your left jab is begging for those laser pull counters, or will you still have the power when you are constantly being jab in your gut or getting straight right in your gut (Guerrero)? Then again who am i to tell a man what he can't or cannot do, but as i said, you better make sure you are ready.

Canelo and Floyd hold a belt at 154. Both have fought at 154. Canelo is getting bigger so he more than likely can't make 147 anymore and he may be having problems even making 154 since he balloons so high plus is having stamina issues ..... the craziest thing is that you want Canelo to fight others at 160 but Floyd at 147!!!! That is crazy!!!!

You even say that Canelo's only advantage is size, right? So why do you want to take away his sole advantage?
I said is that not a double standard?? Is Oscar considered a coward for making Floyd move up in weight?? That is a simple question!

If you say no than how can Floyd be a coward if he wants to fight Canelo at 147 which he just fought at? It's funny people can't answer that question!

Once again Floyd was calling out Oscar, so he had to play by Oscar's rules because he was the man at the time period! If Canelo wants Floyd that bad he should come to his comfortable weight!

If not fight cats in his division and make a name that way... He has plenty of Lions that campaign I repeat "CAMPAIGN" at 154 that would live to get their hands on Canelo, and showing him what it really is! I am willing to bet all my points on here, when he faces any top 3 fighter that is in his weight class he loses!

Golden Boy will protect him for a fight or two! But by sometime next spring or fall 2014 somebody would have beat him... If he wants Floyd that bad come and get him. If not face cats that are naturally comfortable at that weight.

WHY didn't the FRAUDSTER fight Pac?.......ONE PUNCH, Putum to sleep POWER!!!
Pac's one punch power couldnt even put away a 39 year old Marquez. And wasn't Pac the one that got put to sleep in his last fight? So what makes you think he will knock out Mayweather who is far superior to Marquez in every way. Mayweather schooled Marquez in one fight for 12 rounds. Pac struggled and lost to Marquez in 4 fights. Mayweather did in 1 fight that Pacquiao still has failed to do in 4, which is to get a clear decisive win over Marquez. The point I'm trying to make is that if Pacquiao struggles with Marquez's counter punching style, how can he possibly deal with Mayweathers? And lastly if Pac is so much better then Floyd how come all of their mutual opponents (DLH, Hatton, Cotto, Mosley) when asked who would win between the two, they all picked Mayweather. Don't get me wrong I like Pac I believe he is a great fighter. I just don't think he's good enough to beat Mayweather.

My thoughts exactly. Lucas leans in a lot when he throws his right, gets off balance sometimes, and is generally hittable. He does a lot of things well, but Floyd will absolutely dominate him- win every second of every round.

Lucas vs Broner would be a very good fight, and I would probably pick Lucas based on size and experience. Anyone who thinks Broner is in Floyd's league at this point needs to buy some glasses and spend some studying the sport.

it's because very few fighters who are high profile, can get away with the philly shell stance, and counter from it like broner does. but that's the only similarity between the two styles. broner is more flat footed than matthysse and doesn't fight on his toes. people here might be surprised to see who's moving most in that fight and i'm not talking about the guy running away
