If Lucas were to beat Danny Garcia down, than go up to 147 and get a win over Guerrero, Ortiz, Thurman, Maidana, Alexander, or Khan, it would probably happen.

Agree, but not because I think he HAS TO, but because he NEEDS TO, for his own sake.
Test the waters against Alexander, and maybe Thurman. If he can handle those 2 @ 147, then he's as ready as he'll ever be for Floyd.
