Great fight. Matthyse has a point about him being slow and wide open, but Matthyse isnt hard to hit. Danny's best chance is to try and outhustle Lucas, if he tries to **** with him he will get flattened.

      This fight needs to happen.

I'll pick Matthysse by late stoppage but I will be expecting a war and a lot of leather being landed, both can punch but Matthysse is the harder puncher of the two.

Both are durable, Garcia's shown he can take a good shot and so has Matthysse.

      It'll be a great fight.

I hear alot of guys keep talking about lucas power but if you really watch him he's a good boxer too and his timing is good. The reason he has two controversial sd to devon and judah to fast guys with decent pop, the reason he ko's dallas in 1 and the reason he beat Peterson last night is he times guys and catches them.

I agree, this fight will be close. Garcia has been improving with every fight. I don't hear people using the triangle theory on this match-up like the usually do! Garcia-Judah-Mathysse anybody? lol

Yeah with every fight, I've noticed that he starts slow and looks wide (imo). Very quickly though, he switches up the way he throws his punches, the distance he throws them and he is a very good counter puncher.

He adapts as he needs too and the power is always an equalizer. I was shocked that he was hurting Peterson with the left hand and not the right......it's not often you see a guy with KO power in both hands.

I thought Matts was robbed in that fight but a loss is a loss.

I think Lucas is feeling himself a little right now. Understandable. But he needs to realize that he's just as, if not more limited than Danny from a physical talent and technical skills standpoint. That said, I see him blasting out Danny inside 6. Danny is a better technical, but he has a fighter's mentality and the second he's touched, he'll be drawn into a war. And when that happens, its gonna come down to power and chin. And Lucas is superior in both catagories.
