So what's your argument, that he can make 140 or could have made 144?

"Floyd came in at 46, he had to EAT to make 156"

This is the exact interview Boxingscene quoted.

I'm guessing by 156 he means the Jr Middleweight limit (154)

He's not though. He's clearly not.

No natural 140 lb fighter is going to weigh no less than 146 lbs for almost 7 years now.

He's a solid Welterweight. Not big, not small.

If Lucas landed 21% of his shots vs Devon, what percentage will he land vs Floyd?

if Lucas is a legitimate opponent, then so is Devon.

The hype surrounding Matthysse, you would think he ran through Alexander and Zab Judah which didn't happen. Maybe he's the best Jr WW, maybe not, but Peterson shouldn't get slept on, neither should Danny Garcia.

'could have made 144'. I don't know if he can make 140, I'm just going on what his trainer is saying. I think he can make a catchweight for Matthysse and I see that as the fairest option.

Sounds to me like he meant 146, I don't recall FMJ ever weighing 156 (publicly). Either way, he came in at 146 v Guerrero and looked healthy, I don't think another couple of pounds are going to hurt.

            Thanks for the link.

Peterson, Garcia, Lucas, Khan...it's sad that 140 is saturated by a bunch of B-level boxers

Sounds to me like he's saying "He came in at 146".

"He has to eat to make weight for a Jr Middleweight fight"

                Which would make sense.

                He's a healthy 146, I doubt he's a healthy 144 and under. He hasn't weighed any lower than 146 in 7 years for a reason I would assume.

I don't see 2lbs making that much difference tbh.

Regardless, who do you think he should fight next?
