So the objective now is to make Floyd seem as small as possible I see.... He's really a jr ww now. Lmao this is just hilarious. Honestly. He couldn't even make 144 when fought Marquez back in 2008. Or did he just choose not to??? Doesn't even matter I'm just saying this type of **** is corny.

That's the state of boxing that we're in. Floyd Sr. also expressed his distasteful in the talent we have today, and noted that there was much better fighters back then. This ain't Floyd's fault though, which Sr. also said.
I saw flaws in Matthysse defensively after recently re-watching his fights against Judah, Alexander, Ajose, but he's still capable of pulling through due to his durability and Peterson's decent power.
Danny Garcia can't fight on the inside, is a bit stationary as well.
Peterson is good, but we already saw what Tim did to him and Floyd will most likely do the same.
Khan ain't even worth mentioning.Comment

I disagree with that he is a small welterweight, but that doesn't mean he could currently go lower. I can just look at his dimensions compared to other welters historically and Floyd would be smaller than most of them.
Just because he can't go lower anymore doesn't make him big or average sized for the class, it is just a matter of comfort and reality.Comment

The truth is even if he could make 144, he chose not to make it for a reason, he obviously didn't think he was gonna be healthy doing it.So the objective now is to make Floyd seem as small as possible I see.... That's exactly what he meant. His 30 day weigh in was like 148.6 or something like that.Sounds to me like he's saying "He came in at 146".
"He has to eat to make weight for a Jr Middleweight fight"
Which would make sense.
He's a healthy 146, I doubt he's a healthy 144 and under. He hasn't weighed any lower than 146 in 7 years for a reason I would assume.Comment

But why does he make a point of not stepping on the unofficial scale? How can you weasel out of the biggest current fight with weight excuses, and refuse fight night weighin just about every time? No other fighter in the sport has such a problem with this.Comment

Or he was just acting? You people believe everything Mayweather says or does without even questioning him.Originally posted by Dominicano SoyFloyd is a WW, one doesn't just fork over 300K for 2 pounds, in fact if you watch Mayweather's expression at the weigh in against Marquez, in his mind he was expecting to come in at 145, 146 sounded surprising to him.

I don't know. I'm just clarifying what Sr. said. He said he had to eat to make 156 not 146. By 156, he meant to say the JMW limit of 154.Comment
