I've been a fan of boxing forever, especially Roy Jones, but I'm not going to front, I don't remember the Roycott! Excellent post though.

Back in the day there were a large number of Roy Jones haters (very similar to the floyd haters) that tried to boycott his PPV vs Eric Harding because they wanted him to travel to GERMANY and fight Dariusz Michalsweski.

Giving Roy slack for not fighting Michalsweski is similar to idiots giving Floyd slack for not fighting PRIME Margarito. LOL! Like these guys stood a chance.

However, I do prefer the boxing style that a lot of African American fighters utilize. However, I am not a fan of all Black fighters. Period.

It seems like it's ok for Latino fans to scream AZTEC WARRIOR and BROWN PRIDE with impunity. But when a Black fan shows support to a Black fighter it's all of a sudden a problem.
