    Checkmate!
And before I say something else don't bring the fact that Canelo won silver, interim and cheap titles at welterweight, he's never been a legitimate welter champion.

Why Floyd picked Cotto to fight @154? easy, true and logical explanation, because Cotto was never a legit Jr. Middleweight contender, but he choosed to do it.

Why Floyd didn't pick Kirkland, Lara, Martirosyan, Molina, Angulo,Trout and now Canelo? easy one, because those are legit Jr. Middleweight contenders, and before you fire something at me, hold on, because this is so true that no one will ever be able to debate it. I'll say this on bolds because it has to be remarked.

Don't you ever dare, and I mean ever tell me that Canelo is a supermiddle or a cruiser guy, "All those names I listed as legit Middeweights, ALL OF THEM REHYDRATE FROM 165 TO 172, BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT NATURAL JR.MIDDLEWEIGHTS REHYDRATE TO, dont believe me? go look at the web and you'll be amazed by the numbers.

Floyd is the #1 P4P for me, but I'll be very dissapointed if the doesn't step up to the plate and offer the fans the fights they want to see, Peace and Gold bless you.

bro stop using facts and logic.

i mean why would the current 2x 154lb champion floyd mayweather jr. face a fellow 154lb fighter?

GTFO with your facts and logic.

So Canelo had made a career fighting lightweight and jr welterweight at 154, but the second someone asks him to drop down a weight class folks go bonkers. Lol

Dawson wanted Ward and he came down, why can't ginger!

Floyd Sr is simply trying to take care of his fighter, the way any good trainer would. The fact is, lil Floyd has looked like **** (by his ridiculously high standards of course) in his only two fights above the welterweight limit. Which I have a su****ion as to why lil Floyd's critics have such a hard on to see him at 54 again. And he's looked awesome at or below it. So there is potential that his frame simply maxes out at welter. There's a possibility that his style doesn't translate as well against naturally much bigger guys. Or he could even have a mental block when forced outta his comfort zone. Either way, Floyd Sr is simply doing his job. Problem is, lil Floyd is gonna do what lil Floyd wants to do. And for fight fans, that's a plus because we'll likely get the Canelo fight, at 54. Either way, at any weight, I think Floyd will outbox Canelo. At 54, I think Canelo gives him holy hell and comes as close to beating him as anyone since the first Castillo fight. At 47, Canelo probably gets stopped late.

BTW, where was all the *****in when Ward drug Dawson down to 68 and wouldn't even entertain the thought of doing it an oz heavier?

Hmmmmm I wonder why the best fighter in the world would duck a guy that gasses, is flat footed and has limited head movement? Could it be that maybe the person that said this is just talking out of his a$$? Could it be that maybe the flat footed, gassed and no head movement guy is a real threat?

                lollololololol
Maybe you should tell that to Floyd so that way he realizes he´s got all the advantages even at 154 and take the fight like a real man.

Sr is a bum. "My son will whoop him at 154, we don't care about the weight". "The weight is the only thing that could be an issue". "We don't give a damn about him, all we want him to do is come in like we tell him too if he want to get paid"

LOL....if that's not a sucker duck move, then I don't know what is. Old senile man Mayweather had better recognize that "money" has a belt at 154. Canelo is gonna headline his own PPV against Cotto and KO him while Floyd fights Alexander in a snoozefest.

He'd be a legend cuz for the first time on his career he would face a Legitimate Jr. Middleweight Champion, not a 147 forced into a 154, or a past prime 154, you know who I am talkin about.
