He's looking to a Ward rematch before Hopkins anyway.
As I said yesterday, Froch would take the fight at 172... in England...
A "Ward-Froch II" fight would make no sense -- unless Ward doesn't fully recover after surgery.

A lot of unproven guys like Groves, DeGale etc.

Hopkins is a legend and well know to the general boxing fan, and v well known in the UK, far more in the UK than Ward due to his fight with Calzaghe.

There's none at SMW bigger in status than Hopkins at CW or LHW and believe me - Hopkins would do huge tickets in the UK and Froch Hopkins would have cross over appeal due to the US UK factor.

I hope the fights happen for the Press Confrences alone - they be pure gold!
He might be a legend but a legend who cant sell any tickets.

Maybe in US but that's a different thing. If the fight happens in UK, Uk have a big sell out.

20,000 for Calzaghe Lacy I think

        50,000 for Calzaghe Kessler

I think Froch Kessler will do 20-25k

Froch Hopkins will do huge tickets coz Froch's the best known active British Fighter and the Uk fans love to see great fighters and will turn out in droves for a Hopkins.

Froch v Hopkins would likely be at the City Ground (Capacity 30,500).

Fight will probably happen if Froch can beat Kessler (significant 'if').

You Froch haters can shut the **** up. Calling him a loser and a ****ing ducker? Froch never ducks fights idiots. Also Hopkins asked for the fight too not Froch so again shut the **** up.

B-Hop not only suggested this fight but he insisted on it being a catchweight.

The guys about to fight Kessler then looking at fighting a Ward rematch & a fight with B-Hop with a couple of LB catchweight that was suggest by B-Hop himself and hes still being hated on, wow!

Calzaghe's win over B Hop not looking too bad now

Manny pacquiao are all allowed to make opponents come down in weight but Mayweather's not allowed?
After criticizing Pacquiao for bringing Cotto and Oscar down in weight it doesn't look good when he asks for the same thing.

It never looked bad. It was just Euro/UK-haters loading up on JC.

                    (daggum where you at!?)

True. I would say the same thing as I did with Chad Dawson. Chad wanted it and if he wasn't at his best because he drained himself, then it's his fault, not Ward's.

Still, focusing on Froch for a second. He can't move up one weight division? Do you really feel that Bernard Hopkins is gonna have a strength advantage? B-Hop is all bones at this point. He is losing muscle mass. Saying that you want him at 170 either says that:

                      A) You think that he would be much stronger than you. You, a 35 year old man.

                      OR

                      B) You want him weight drained and not at his best, which he already isn't at his age.

Forgetting about Hopkins, Froch could still come in at 170 himself. That's Light-Heavyweight technically. And Hopkins could come in at 175. Saying that you want him to be at the same weight as you either says A) or B). And neither is good.
