This is not a good enough response, and isn't addressing the core of my points.

How does Froch's strength get reduced by simply having Hopkins come in at 175? Nothing changes about Froch. And is a 50 year old, muscle losing Hopkins really gonna be stronger because of 5 pounds? A weak, Light-Heavy to begin with.

It was a good enough response. I never said froch's strength would be reduced by fighting hopkins at light heavy I said it would reduce his advantage in strength, meaning the difference in strength between the two of them.
