Alexander can punch he just comes up short on so many of his shots lately he hasn't really been sitting down on everything like he was back against Urango. He tried to prove his heart after Bradley but ran into Matthyse and had to stop standing in there after that fight. He throws combos and is accurate I;m sure it hurts

they both pulled out at least once you bell.

Alexander has the potential to hit hard enough to bother Khan, but you don't see it very often. He usually pitty-pats.

          This is cowardly

This is what pro boxing has come to. Managers lining up fighters that "cant punch" for their fighters to fight. This is ridiculous. Gone are the days where fighters seek to fight the best fighters in their weight class without being carefully matched for fear of their fighter being knocked out. This is utter cowardice if you ask me. I have no respect for Khan or his managers!

                Just lol.

Ignorance is bliss I guess. Hearn has most of the top UK based talent signed up, and has taken more risky fights with his fighters than any other promoter I can think of.

Ever heard of a club fighter called Froch fighting domestic bartenders? Or how about Rees a former world champ going to fight that British bartender Broner? He signed Brook up to fight Alexander....in America, and as for being shady you seem to conveniently miss than Alexander pulled out once too. Proksa went to fight Golovkin...in America... Darren Barker fighting that can Martinez....In America....Carl Frampton is about as tested as anyone 16 fights into his career with wins over Molitor and Martinez (**** neither are British). Infact Brook's replacement for Alexander is Purdy who is promoted by Hearn too. I could go on, but I doubt facts are going to bother your clearly biased and uninformed opinion.

On topic: While Khan clearly doesn't have a world class chin most of his problems have been due to lack of defence. The punches that he got hurt from against Prescott/Garcia would have been enough to stop most people. Alexander is certainly one of the safer fights for him at welterweight.

I guess the winner will be talked about as the next Mayweather opponent too. GBP seem determined to make Khan-Mayweather and a win over Alexander could be enough of an excuse to make it. And with Alexander, even without a win over Khan its hard to argue that he isn't the most deserving non Top Rank fighter at welterweight.

You a moron, khan is one of the few boxers who is currently willing to take on any challenge that is worth it, Apart from him talking about "not wanting to give Brooks a payday" he is alway available for anyone to fight.

He fought Jackiewicz who was in the Top 10 at 147.

But that's it, he does certainly need to step up.

Especially after he's turned down Bradley and now the Alexander fight has fell through and now he's fighting Carson Jones again for some reason.

He would end up the same way against Alexander. Khan will fight a no name guy at 147 first, Alexander is fighting Mayweather.
