Of course he's in undercard spots and rightfully so. He's not a main event fighter yet. He's still being built upand gets to do it on freaken HBO for probably bigger paychecks than before. Next he's fighting on the Chavez undercard, who's the biggest HBO ratings draw.

Bob probably signed him just to take a fighter away from Floyd's stable, but now that he has him he doesn't know what to do with Vargas.
The two cards I remember Vargas being on is the Bradley card and the cruddy Thursday card before the Martinez-Chavez fight. I thought going to TR would help Vargas's career but it looks like he's as stagnant there as when he was with Floyd. At least under Floyd he probably made better money then with TR.Comment
