Why do you think Froch has improved?

There's no doubt thatFroch has fough one of the hardest ongoing streaks in the game, but I fail to see these drastic improvements that everybody keeps on mentioning. Froch is still a hitable man, no improvements in his defence, which is still low and high reliant on reflexes. Last time kessler punished him to the body, and did not get lured into the cobras counterpunching game.

Yes, against Bute he looked like hulk, but come on now, do we really know anything about Bute other than he was undefeated good looking champion? What if he can't handle pressure fighters with heavy hands? Froch is not the fastest puncher but still managed to hit Bute at will after the first couple of rounds. I don't believe for a second that these bullrushes he did on Bute will work on Kessler.

So what departments do you thinkfroch has improved and why do you see it.

I think he has come on but nowhere near the amount people make out.

You'd think Kessler has no chance in this fight the way some people are acting and that is just not the case.

Kessler is a real threat and could easily come away with the win here.

I think it will be an extremely close fight but Froch will get the benfit of being on home turf and come away with a 116-112 UD

I honestly don't like Froch at all. I think he lost to Dirrell's btchass. Lost to Kessler is a good fight. And then got spanked by Ward. He's the same come coward guy he's always been. He's not scared to fight though so I respect that considering how top fighters act like they.

I don't believe Froch has improved but then I'm not sure he needed to, he was competitive with everyone except Ward.

I see no improvement. Froch is just Froch maayn.

Bit on the fence for this one though I feel Kessler has the blueprint and tools to beat Froch. I seen a few things I didn't like watching that first encounter.

I think he's smarter, which is all he needed.

He has the iron chin, good power and under-rated skills that he's always had, but he now fights smarter. He now sticks to the gameplans instead of quickly going gung-ho and it makes a world of difference.

I agree. Not significantly, but he has a better understanding of when to throw punches, what's coming his way, when to go all out and when not to. He's better in that hard to measure way, but I think you can see it when you go back and watch earlier fights.

He is a basic fighter with Iron Chin.. and will always be a basic fighter with Iron Chin.

I know u meant to say forward, but thats a terrible typo for a Froch thread!!

As to the OP, we'll find out soon enough against Kessler how much/if any Froch has improved. I think it'll be just as close as the first, but this time Froch will just do enough to get the win (i had it 7-5 Kessler last time). I think he'll spend less time trying to hurt Kessler and more time trying to land scoring shots than last time knowing that he doesnt need a KO to win. He's also gonna be a bit more cautious towards eating punches (especially to the body) this time around.

People forget that everyone was thinking Abraham was going to KO him, and Froch put on a clinic. He knows what he needs to do to win, to not get ****** into a battle like when he was undefeated and feeling invincible.
