Okay, I get what you're saying. So he avoided a titleless domestic fighter so he could fight a prime undefeated Kessler, and then face the lineal light heavyweight champ. Under that premise he must have avoided just about the entire 168 and 175 pound divisions. Incredible!

I consider a duck as not taking a fight you're expected to take. Given their respective situations and alternative opponents I wouldn't expected any of those fights to be made. They could have, but they didn't. Everyone will have their own take on it though.
And you have the nerve to call other fighters (and a certain one), a cherry picker. Wanker.

Wow people are genuinely calling Carl Froch a ducker on this forum. I mean just think about that for a second

I respect Carl a lot. He is a natural SMW. If anything, i'd have expected him to start off as a MW to eventually move to his natural weight class, not start at his natural 168 and bloat up which people seem to suggest he should. There's nothing wrong with staying in 1 division if you're willing to fight everyone there. Guess what? That's what he's done. I much prefer that than picking off titles in various divisions without really fighting the best in them, unless the weight is a crazy disadvantage there.

Froch is currently in a division with arguably the best fighter in the world. I honestly think moving up is a dumb thing to do unless Ward moves up too

Froch could beat Hopkins at 175. He should go for it.

I do not remember Froch calling out Calzaghe and making mainstream news until after he captured the WBC Super- Middleweight title from Pascal.

Not fighting Witter, Cleverly and an '07/08 Froch to fight superior better known opponents is not the same as avoiding a prime Cotto, Margarito, Pacquiao and now seemingly Canelo to fight inferior opponents.

Read this^ a couple of times so you can absorb it.

As to your insult, go and learn some manners bro. I didn't say anything personal to you. Put me on ignore if I'm that bad.

By which point Calzaghe was already retired? lol.

Huh? What are you talking about? I think you need to go back and look at the timescales.

Calzaghe retired after Froch was WBC Super -middle wight champ.

Do not get me wrong, i think at the time Calzaghe was right to retire and not entertain a fight v Froch, but hindsight has proven us all wrong .

Having Froch on Calzaghes record would have elevated him even further. But, who would have guessed at that time Froch would have turned out to be the warrior he is?

You should check your own information first before questioning others claims. Froch won his first title (a vacant one at 168) on December 6, 2008. Calzaghe fought his last fight (it was at 175) against Roy Jones on November 8th, 2008.
