actually after he lost to Mayweather and was looking for a fight at 140 Hatton held no title but still refused to fight Witter who offered to fight him for free... instead he chose lazcanzo

Not saying that he was scared of Junior but he certainly did "duck" him
No where near the same, Froch hadn't made his bones on the world level when Calz retired.

Witter had been calling Hatton out back when they were both on the domestic level and when Ricky was going through his WBU reign of terror.

Hatton ducked Witter. Regardless of who would have won the fight. He had like 8 years to fight him and didn't, even when Witter held a strap as FghtFan2007 said

Lol, whatever makes you happy. As far as I'm concerned, Calzaghe last fought November, 2008.

Read this^ a couple of times so you can absorb it.

As to your insult, go and learn some manners bro. I didn't say anything personal to you. Put me on ignore if I'm that bad.
Sorry, mate. Didn't mean to be insulting.

Like I said, everyone has their own take on it.

I remember Ricky's take on it: "yeah, I ducked Witter and fought Tszyu, Collazo, Urango, Castillo, Malignaggi, Mayweather and Pacquiao instead"

If he had ducked those guys^ and fought Witter instead and stayed domestic then that would fulfil what I see as a duck. Imo it's a "duck" if you duck the best, not avoid "the rest".

He last fought in November 2008, but did not immediately retire, he said he was considering the options open to him. He retired well after Froch n won the title, whether you agree with them or not they are the facts. You cannot deny the truth which is before your eyes.
I liked Joe and went to 8 of his fights, but you seem to be blinded by your hatred for Froch ! Which I cannot understand why ?

I respect Carl a lot. He is a natural SMW. If anything, i'd have expected him to start off as a MW to eventually move to his natural weight class, not start at his natural 168 and bloat up which people seem to suggest he should. There's nothing wrong with staying in 1 division if you're willing to fight everyone there. Guess what? That's what he's done. I much prefer that than picking off titles in various divisions without really fighting the best in them, unless the weight is a crazy disadvantage there.

Froch is currently in a division with arguably the best fighter in the world. I honestly think moving up is a dumb thing to do unless Ward moves up too
You all sound dumb as ****....I'm 5'10 & EEEEEASILY weight 180LBS when i'm not in shape...Froch is at least 3 -4 in taller than me. No ****ing way he's walking around at 168...No...****ing....WAY! When I'm in supreme condition I can get in between 165 & 70 w/out a weight cut. Froch can eat a di*k if they're saying he's scared to fight 2 or 3 lbs higher than his normal fighting weight. All that means is less cut...not bloating u jerkoff as if he's tryna get to cruiser or something...foh.

Wait, the last guy said Calzaghe didn't "oficially" retire until Feb. 2009; that's only a 3 month gap between his last fight. Froch won his vacant title in Dec. 2008; so is two months a long time to you? As far as I'm concerned, the last time Calzaghe fought Froch was a nobody.

And truthfully Carl remained a nobody until the Super Six where he was 15 seconds away from losing to a shot Jermain Taylor (moving up in weight and coming off two losses icl. a KO) as well as losses to Andre Ward, Kessler, and Dirrell (Nottingham home cooking). But sure he beat Bute, I guess that makes him a P4P star...

Froch v. Shot Taylor moving up:

Some people don't put on much weight no matter what they eat it's genetics not everones the same, Froch is like me in that he doesn't put on weight, I can eat all sorts of **** and put on hardly any weight.
