Comments Thread For: Wladimir Klitschko: It is So Difficult To Be This Boring!

WBO/IBO/WBA/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (60-3, 51KOs) knows the fans would like to see him exchange punches in a war, but he plans to continue his dominating performances and knockout victories. Wladimir has heard the critics call him "boring" but says it's very hard to dominate the competition and knock them out. Wladimir next opponent being lined up is undefeated Olympic champion Alexander Povetkin of Russia.

Tell 'em Wlad...the second you change, take some shots, etc...those same critics are on you for slipping or not being as good as you once were or calling you overrated..

Just continue to dominate, let them say what they're going to say without having stepped into the ring themselves...and they will have to respect your dominance with what you were given

the best people can come up with is Povetkin or your own Brother now as it relates to competition...you already took care of Haye when people said he was your defining challenge...yet the continue to bash you..

    Do your thing champ

Anyone who have been in the boxing game, knows that it's not fun to get hit. Your head and your wealth is your main concern. Keep doing your work Wlad! Let the haters hate.

ya i agree with him. if people just want to see 2 brawlers go at it there are plenty fights like that but if someone is good enough to hit and not be hit i dont see the problem. its not his fault no one can test him hes just doing what he can

He is taller, heavier, in better shape, and more skilled/more experianced than everyone he faces and still cant win in exciting fashion? pathetic.

The reason he doesn't get hit is because he jumps back everytime his opponent comes forward and throws loads upon loads upon loads upon loads of jabs.

He knows he has a glass chin, so he has to be boring.

BTW there were loads of champs in history who dominated their era, but were far from boring.

quit shying away from the actual issue, it is not that he doesn't get hit or gets into brawls, it's that he obviously carries the sht out of his opponents, i still remember steward coming to a boil with him tellin'em to knock the guy out already

if steward had'nt pushed the issue for about 3 rd's till wlad finally got pissed enough to do it, chambers would have made to the end of the fight

against this latest pinata guy he carries the hell out of him also when he could have just sparked him

do you, wladimir. in klitschko we trust.

people are impatient. wladimir knocks almost everybody out and he looks good doing it. he hardly gets touched. he's in a class with rigondeaux, ward, and mayweather in that regard. hopkins in his prime, too. people hardly touch him.

                  pardon me for appreciating that.

the same "fans" that hug rigo's nuts, or floyd's nuts, are often the guys calling wladimir boring.

All I can think of is Lennox and Larry Holmes. They were boring also.
