What makes you think he needs to prove a point? There was all that BS from idiot pac stans that claimed Floyd was 160+ since the JMM fight, criticism that carried through past the Mosley fight.

Then he 'made a point' and stepped on the unofficial scales on fight night against Ortiz and was....150.

Four years earlier, he had weighed in at 150 for DLH for a 154 fight.

One year later, he'd fight Cotto at 154 and weighed in at 151.

Really, don't let all that evidence stop your fantasies of an Incredible Hulk Floyd.

Anyway, nice of you to admit Cotto was a cherrypick at 154, as far as belts were concerned. You coulda done so any time in the past 12 months Forgot I guess, like Floyd forgot to drop that 154 belt.
IDK how I admitted that but oh well

Why anyone would not wanna see Floyd vs Canelo is beyond me. I would love to see Floyd test himself against these bigger guys.

Dude I don't care to speculate, but I'm certainly not taking him at his word if he refuses to step on the scale. I'm not taking Marquez' or Nacho's word for it either, despite being more credible, in general.

And you wanting to use pre 2007 figures, lmao. Tim freaking Bradley just went up 10lbs fight night in 1 fight. Guerrero went up a division after Aydin. Peterson went up 9lbs after Ortiz. But Floyd is forever 150, really no bigger than midget JMM. You must have missed that fight?

Alright, maybe not. A large number of Floyd fans were led to use this excuse, that Cotto was simply not a legit 154 hence Floyd should be absolved of any champ duties at 154

Floyd had Alfredo Angulo on his list of possibles for his Showtime contract. Wonder what weight he was going to fight him at.

Marg was a weight drop pro though. Most guys will lose stamina or chin or output. With Marg you only really saw it once
