How convenient. When people want to see Floyd/Canelo, "who cares about the title?"
I've come to realize you're one of Floyd's most die hard defenders, so I won't respond to you anymore.Comment

My point is that argument is moot. If he doesnt wanna fight Canelo or anyone else then strip him. No one argues against that so why keep bringing it up. Its common sense. That still doesnt mean he should fight him. He either gets one or the other. Either he fights him and keeps the belt or he doesnt and get stripped.
It doesnt matter because if he gets stripped, fights at WW, then he can still go to 154 anytime he wants to get the belt back. Thats my point. he doesnt have to wait in line or start all over like other guys would. Any champ would fight him. The whole argument is moot and silly. i dont even get it. No one is arguing against itComment

Hey if that's what it'll take to get him in the ring with a top middle. But he won't even entertain a CW below 154 against a fellow SWW champ And refused to entertain Martinez' challenge at 154 (and under) for yearsComment

Some won't be satisfied till he really mans up & takes on Wlad I guess.Comment

You are missing my point. My point is why keep bringing up about Floyd's belt or stripping him. No one cares. Its common sense. If he doesnt defend in then strip him. Not even a Floyd fan would argue that. What I do argue is people saying he's the 154 pound champ so he should fight there. I then say that he's also the 147 pound champ so he should fight there too.

Agreed. 160 fighters are really just too big, even for Floyd. The guy was a super featherweight & lightweight for a long time, it's been a big progression through the weight classes anyway. Unless he gets lazy & puts on a few pounds (unlikely) he's not really going to be able to be anywhere near a credible middleweight. If he does a middleweight fight at all it'll only be a once-off or twice-off at the absolute outside.

Why 20-25? Why not 11-18? Canelo was 165 for Lopez and 172 for Trout. It'd be less than 15lbs, well manageable for a guy with Floyd's skillsComment
