I agree. I actually thought he lost against Trout. Point is, he may gave offense, (not enough tho IMO since he couldn't put Mosley away), but he doesn't have good enough DEFENSE to avoid all of the counters and overhand rights Floyd throws. Every fighter is accused of gassing out when really they stop throwing cuz they are eating too many counters and the same goes if this fight ever happens.

People don't get confused. Márquez' words sometimes get lost in the translation. He said in Spanish that Mayweather is difficult because of his style but he also said " Mayweather no pegua duro " which means that Mayweather doesnt hit hard. He has also said that Floyd is a dirty fighter.

Marquez speaks from the heart and people get upset. Its just his personal opinion so please get over it. How can you not respect him for being honest. Marquez has always been a pretty honorable person in boxing. Its funny because if Marquez said "Canelo would destroy Floyd" then people would be praising Marquez like no other. I respect his word more then some hate filled keyboard warrior.

He gets respect from ALL the fighters: Dawson, Marquez, Rios, Hatton, Cotto, Garcia, Robert Garvia, Ward, Mosley, Paullie, Sergio called him the best and all of the fighters and trainers in between.

The people that actually talk the most shyt are the people that don't fight lol! But like I always say! Who is more reliable and words hold more weight when it comes to this topic?

These professionals that train and are at the top of their respective profession? Or a hater who has never fought before, been on the big stage, and dislikes a person because of their "persona"?

Nobody is "HATING" on Canelo as some people will suggest JMM is doing but you have to understand the ERA that him and Mayweather come from, they wasn't GIVEN STARDOM at 20-21 years old...They earned their way to the top and earned their way to Big Paydays

Now guys like Broner, Canelo that **** is being handed to them, one win against a decent opponents and they are being labeled "THE NEXT BIG SUPERSTAR IN BOXING"?

What? Mayweather was promoted big time on HBO when he started. He had it the same way Bronner and Canelo are being promoted except HBO and Showtime now have documentaries airing about fighters. But Floyd has been huge since day one. Also, no Canelo will never be as good as half the champs I have seen since the 90's but he probably won't be much better than he is now either. He should fight May right now and learn from the loss. He ain't ever beating Floyd and if he beats an old ass Floyd it won't count
