We don't know if it is true. That just came from Canelo's camp. Floyd's side hasn't made any statments so I can't say.

Yea I have heard this before, roach even said Mayweather wants Pac at 154 with 10oz gloves etc, its difficult to believe when it comes from the other sides manager.

What do you expect me to say? I think this is a rational way of thinking. How do you feel about it? It's the same as Canelo saying he wants the fight at 154 and not 147. Each man is going to try and make it as comfortable for them as possible. I would not say either is afraid. Floyd once said he would fight Martinez at a catch weight so maybe this is the case because dudes are way bigger than him but last I heard from Team Floyd was that they would take some weeks before they make a decision. Would you think that is a duck from Floyd? Do you think Canelo possibly fighting Cotto after Trout beat Cotto, who Canelo beat would be a cherry pick?

The Canelo/Floyd weight thread didn't even it make it past 200 posts on any other boxing site I post on, yet here on NSB it is 800 posts long and almost 1/2 the posts in the entire thread are by junior gong and ColdCa$hCanelo (AKA: El Gallo Negro, Easy Money, etc. None of it is anything more than hating/taunting etc...no insight just insipidity. People have been saying NSB has gone to ****, these two are a big part of the reason.

people don't realize that its not marquez parading around hating on canelo, he works on a boxing show weekly. The favorite question of boxing fans is who can take down the king and on a Mexican boxing show of course they're gonna mention canelo. He tells his story which many agree with. Why the hate?

Grus, this is just my opinion, but I believe that Canelo-Cotto is signed, sealed and will be delivered. GBP's will let us know the deal, and so will Floyd's people. The truth always comes out!
