I still don't believe it. I think its a ploy to get Floyd's, the media, and the fans attention (which is great). But if its true, Like I said before its a duck I cant defend. Floyd is not a 154lber. He moves up only for big fights(which Canelo is of course). Canelo does bring something to the table and thats his fanbase.It will be a super fight. It doesnt even make sense for Floyd to wait for this fight. He's only going to get older. Canelo is going to get better and gain more experience. The only thing I can see that would hurt Canelo, is that it will eventually become hard for him to make 154. But I think thats a couple of years from now which would be crazy for Floyd to fight him then. September would be the best time. Unless he waits for Canelo to beat Cotto to make it even bigger. Then I really dont know who Floyd's next opponent is. Showtime would eventually put pressure on him to Fight. So I still believe this fight definitely happens.

He didnt want to fight Margarito although I feel he would have made Marg look amateurish. He gave 101 excuses not to fight prime Cotto at 147. He created roadblock after roadblock when it came time to fight Pac. If he refuses to fight Canelo and demands Canelo come down to 147, it will be quite obvious that the common demoninator when it comes to fights not happening is FLOYD!
