Doesn't Reynoso say that Floyd rejected the catch weight in the article? If Canelo absolutely can't make welterweight why is he so intent on fighting a welterweight. Lets be clear Floyd has never weighed more than 148 lbs for any of his fights including against Cotto and De La Hoya. Mayweather is a welter weight. Canelo is begging him for a chance at pound for pound glory and a huge pay day so he will do Mayweather's bidding, whatever it is, or he will have to go **** himself. If Chad Dawson can come down from 175 to 168 for a Ward fight Canelo can come down from 154 to 147. Reynoso should kill the Freddy Roach impression and stop running his mouth to the media

Most people didn't read that he rejected the catch weight, that's why I'm confused about all the talk saying Floyd asked for a catch weight.

Dawson said he could make 168 and ward never fought at 175. canelo never said he could still make 147 and Mayweather just fought at 154 last yr- huge difference.

IM NOT A FLOYD FAN, you dont have to pretend to not understand, just so you can have the last word. Floyd only fought for the belt, to make the fight more promotable. Make it seem like its a big championship fight. If Floyd does refuse to fight Canelo, and give up the belt, then people will say he's ducking.

As far as him defending it against another champion, thats up to Floyd if he wants to do that. He's really not built for it, but its not right for people to attack him for this one. Once Pac destroys Rios, people will be begging to see him fight Floyd all over again, and when Floyd ducks, THEN you can attack Floyd for not fighting the best in his weight class.

Somehow you're putting all of this on Mayweather's shoulders as if he can snap his fingers and please all of the fans, well he can't. Do you even have any concept of what it takes to put on a big fight, all of the negotiations and posturing that's involved? What keeps fights from happening and fans unhappy? Promoters bro, promoters......

So although we are very emotional and enthusiastic about the sport, as we should be we're fans, the reality is that boxing is a business period. And the ones making money have no such emotionalism, all they see are numbers and the green that's attached to them.

To place blame solely on Floyd for fights not happening is to simplify a business model that's cold, calculating, and very lucrative......

Slip stream is one of them but a different variation, they use totally nondescript usernames but have old school fighters as avatar trying to pass themselves as some sage boxing historians. Fetta is another one who had a willie pep avatar for awhile.
