The champ calls the shots, just like Oscar did. I'm amazed that details of how Oscar controlled everything never are spoken about, but Mayweathers @#$% is headline news.

why didnt floyd fought trinidad, wright, margarito, tzyu, forrest, cotto, judah, in their primes?

Yes, we all know Baldomir had the fight of his life against the highly overrated Judah. And we also know that the Baldomir/Judah fight was supposed to be a gimme fight. But lets keep pretending that you were actually watching boxing back then to know that.

Riddle me this, during that time frame, who was the welterweight divisions longest reigning belt holder?

There is a big difference between a fighter rehydrating at their "best" weight than dehydrating down to a weight class they haven't been.

Canelo rehydrating at 154 to 170+ is fine for him, hes done it before.

Canelo rehydrating from 147? No thanks. He'll be training mainly to lose weight and it's a farce since lvarez hasn;t done a thing at 147

So Mayweather wants the fight at 147, so make it happen. Canelo is 14 years younger than Mayweather, he can make the weight. Mayweather has not been near his best at 154. He lost more rounds in the two fights at that weight than he has lost in his entire run at 147 combined. De La Hoya, Margaritto, and Cotto all came down to fight Manny. No fighter has ever came down to fight Floyd. If Canelo wants the fight he will agree to the terms. The damn guy is fight at Super welterweight, but on fight night he's at light heavy.

He's also got a 147 title. What about that. And he calls the shots, if you want the money. You want it to be one way, but its the other way. (Marlo, The Wire)

Looks like Floyd is going the Pacquiao route with this...147 is complete bull****. Catchweight is not as bad but still not ideal. 154 would be ideal. I really know nothing about rehydration clauses since they are so uncommon so I don't have any take on that yet.

And you can actually say that with no sense of shame or embarrasment. Wow!

Seems to me like Reynoso wants everything in his favor... I guess he's been duped into believing that Canelo is the cash cow. I don't even care to see a super middwt/ lght hvywt fight a natural welter who could make 35/40 if he actually gave a damn.
