That said, Mayweather should fight Canelo at 154.

Everyone else who said the former 154 lb champ (i.e. Pac) shouldn't have fought Martinez at 154, but says Mayweather should fight Canelo at 154, although I agree, needs to shut the fcuk up.

    You're clearly biased.
Difference is, Manny didn't sit on his belt like he was going to defend. He immediately dropped it. Floyds been sitting on it for some time now.

Not sure what to think. Canelo's good but I didn't imagine Floyd being concerned, if all this is true. I thought he did some really good things versus Trout. I didn't think the victory was emphatic however (I had it a draw). Without going into detail again, based on some of Canelo's mistakes I thought Floyd would take the fight....I guess we'll see how things play out.

I will say this, a lot of you Floyd fanatics keep bringing up rehydration weight - didn't Ortiz rehydrate to some ridiculous amount? I really don't think rehydration weight is that much of an issue for Floyd, it's water and a few meals, it's not ****ing muscle gained overnight. I'm sure it has its benefits, but I don't think it's the be all end all for the fight. I highly doubt Floyd is making anywhere near as big a deal about rehydration weight as you guys are. I would think (and I believe I've heard) a lot of boxers would prefer their opponent rehydrate a lot, they get heavy and they slow down in the ring. (Do excuse if I repeated, I didn't read all 28 pages)

151 vs 172. All of you must work for Bob Arum. Why doesn't Canelo fight ward, Triple gig, Dawson, Quillen, Chavez, Sergio and a host of other 160 to 172 pound fighters. The champ calls the shots, just like Oscar did. I'm amazed that details of how Oscar controlled everything never are spoken about, but Mayweathers @#$% is headline news.

Hey! Lets change the rules so the LMW champ doesnt have to fight the LMW champ at LMW. Nice one Floyd!

But not a single one of you clowns took that as gospel right? You're consistently one of the biggest crybabies on this site. Man up and see Floyd for what he is, an opportunistic ducker. On Margarito, "He has Losses". So he fights Baldomir. "Cotto needs to get his PPVs up" So he fights Ortiz and Guerrero. He fights Hatton and Marquez because, "they called me out".

                Weep on.
You do know Baldomir at the time that he fought him was ranked higher than Margarito right!?!?! And you do know Floyd was in negotiations to fight Cotto in 06' But Bob couldn't come up with the doe to make that fight happen (which is one of the main reason Floyd left top rank) right!?!?! Know the facts before you post!!!!

Wait so all Floyd has to do is fight Canelo and he would then be considered an all time great?

What about the other 19 world champions that he beat?
Floyd has fought the some of the best out there.
