Yeah because Broner looked amazing against Quintero and Daniel Ponce De Leon...

Dude shut the hell up, its a 12 round fight Gonzales never took that into consideration he could of won this If he bit down onto the gumshield and carried on but it was his choice to quit.
      For whatever ****** reason.
Lol are you serious here? Broner would have won easily. Burns would have been ko'd in the first 6 rounds easy.

And I agree Broner is over hyped, but Burns is clearly not on the too level.

I doubt he actually broke his wrist, he just blew his gasket and doesn't want to go out there and gets taken out, he needs to go back and work on his stamina.

Burns might have stamina and heart, but he still looked poor technically and was outclassed for the first 7 rounds.

First time he comes up against a guy with skills and stamina, he loses.

So what? Fight with the other arm, Eddie Chambers did it against Adamek for the whole fight, Pascal did it twice, Floyd did it last weekend. No excuse, he was ahead and hurt his opponent several times, and this was for the world title, what a disgrace.

You can have everything but with no heart you aren't a champion.
Burns deserves props but he was getting outclassed.

            Never saw him quitting though.
He was still controlling most of the fight and even in those two rounds Burns didn't land anything clean. Gonzalez snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

Full credit to him for drawing Gonzalez into a war in the 7th, but a worrying performance for him overall.
I don't think many boxers have those orangutang arms, that's where he really had issues.

Abril, Broner and Vasquez all have a shorter reach.

Maybe, but Gonzalez was losing those rounds. I had him up 6-3 with 3 to go. I don't think he was winning those last three so best he could hope for in Glasgow was a draw.

He still should have fought on.

Burns, to be fair, didnt look himself tonight. I noticed him rushing in right from the first bell. His chin is normally low, but he was hanging it right up in the air all night. He is way better than he showed tonight.

I think rican boxing fans should start getting on our boxers for these kind of performances.

It benefits not only us but them too. Gonzalez might have seen his first and last chance of winning a belt, because after Burns it doesnt get any easier stylewise for him.

Totally messed up my day. I wasnt expecting much from Gonzalez, but after the first few rounds of getting impressed and getting my hopes up, for him to finish like he did is unforgivable.
