Davey probably knows by now he won't receive another gift fight from the bros. It will be interesting to say the least to see whether davey has the cojones to earn a shot the hard way. It's time for Haye to show what he's really made of.

If Vitali feels he can do it, I am all up for it. If he feels his body, age doesn't allow him to do it he should make a farewell fight and retire, and that's what I think he'll do.

yes he used to call out Haye, so what.. It wasn't made on time for whatever reason.
That farewell fight should be against Haye.

Both are cherry-pick fighters in my eyes.

Haye had his chance and failed.

He backed out of several fights, and even when he finally did fight Wlad, he showed up late.

Haye has the worst imaginable disrespect for the Klitschkos and has been repeatedly LYING to discredit them.

Wladimir should give other people (Helenius, Pulev, Fury, Boytsov) their opportunity. Haye deserves nothing.

Haye has targeted old men in the past (Barrett, Audley, Ruiz, C Thompson, etc).

Vitali has fought all his WBC mandatories (JC Gomez, Solis, Adamek) and several prime, undefeated opponents (Arreola, Johnson, Charr, etc).

He was ready to fight Haye in 2009 but Haye chickened out (without even having the common decency to tell K-2 and HBO).

he did sign a 4 fight deal...charr is fight #1 & if he deposes of him in impressive fashion that would make 2 guys vitali beat that haye conquered. he would then be in position for title or eliminator. haye will have his next shot by fight #4. i don't see many HWs beating haye...realistically if a title holder wants a big payday he might want to go to england & fight haye. he could be in there before his 4th fight...

it figures haye after refusing vitali for years now wants to fight him being he is old and not much interested in boxing it seems, he would still run. the klits have destroyed upcoming generations of fighters for years and there is no one left to destroy. unbeaten young fighters were demolished and could not fight anymore think calvin brock arreola etc. if the eastern europeons were allowed in boxing for the last 40 years many of the so called champs would have never made it

What really does get me is how some Haye fans can justify David Haye getting a title fight against Wladimir but they can't justify guys like Pianeta getting his chance?

Haye would of got the chance to fight Wladimir with or without the belt so the same thing stands for him, he talked his way into that fight.

The sad thing is David was basically belittling Pianeta's effort whilst infact If you watched that fight Francesco actually came forward and looked to fight something David Haye did very little of.
It's all good and well ducking and dodging punches but when you're not landing a single thing... Well you do the math on that.

It's just all a big mirage and people buy into it, David is one second this ruthless SOB saying he's going to knock you out and now all of a sudden he's portraying this kind of guy who sits back and 'tries' to give a educated judgement on the matter...
Called Dereck Chisora a bully aswell, the ******ity of this man knows no bounds he's a huge hypocrite and I doubt my opinion would ever be swayed.

You don't have to be a Haye fan. A neutral could tell you that Haye is more deserving of a title shot than Pianeta.

I can't stand motormouth, but he is a BIG DRAW in the HW division. Him and the Klitschkos are the money fights.
