Too many lols. Anyhow there's really nothing to laugh at when he sells more PPVs than anyone in the sport right now. With little promotion and him not playing the villian it did surprisingly well. I don't understand the Floyd hate, he's the best fighter of this era by far. Unless you're talking outside the ring and not inside.Comment

It says it wasn't disputed not that they agreed. There's another article I'm not going to dig up, but it's said by HBO that....."Arum asked not to publicly release numbers, so we leave that up to the promoter to decide." If arum says don't say what they are, they won't it's bad business for HBO to go against Promoters. From the third paragraph of the article:
"The final numbers were not in yet, but HBO did not dispute Arum's figure".
So let's review-
Arum says Pacquiao-Opponent did X amount of buys. HBO agrees. Arum is a liar.
Schaefer angrily curses about Floyd-Guerrero doing 'over' X amount of buys. Showtime agrees about a non number. They are telling the truth.
OK, got it. Pretty simple formula

Fine, so then I'll wait patiently and twiddle my thumbs until Showtime does an official release and stops telling us about what they hope the buys exceed. That's all we have at this point, they've been saying the same thing about 'over a million' with no real figure since Tuesday when 3 journalists from 3 different organizations reported their findings about the buy rate.It says it wasn't disputed not that they agreed. There's another article I'm not going to dig up, but it's said by HBO that....."Arum asked not to publicly release numbers, so we leave that up to the promoter to decide." So Dan Rafael from espn and Kevin iole from yahoo sports, 2 guys with absolutely no stake in whether the fight is a success or not reports that they're hearing the ppv numbers are far short of a mil. Espinosa who is an affiliate of Gbp and exec at showtime reports that it did over a mil. Who seems to have more to lose/gain by lying?Comment
