chisora stops him in the mid to late rounds. wilder has a punchers chance of course but he never fougth someone who could present an even remotely elusive target or fight back. chisora has some skills by HW standards, wilder is just a big dude with a big punch. i think chisora can take that away, get inside and mug him at which point wilder will be clueless.

Wilder has some serious flaws defensively and offensively, this fight could go either way. The only thing Wilder has is his sick 1 punch KO power which he's got in both hands.

I think Frank has thrown Derek to the wolves with this one. You cant have hard fight after hard fight without it taking its toll and hes pretty much given up on Chisora as a proespect by giving him the right fight at the right time. He is now just using Chisora as the gatekeeper for fighters with ambition to beat up before moving onto the next level.

The fight is interesting enough because Derek has shown durability with Helenuis, Fury and Vitali and Wilder hasnt done the rounds before so in that aspect it will be good to watch. However now Dereks jaw has been cracked by Haye and remebering how awful he looked in is last fight I think he is there for the taking against an unbeaten puncher and will be stopped for the 2nd time in 3 fights and 5th loss in last 7 fights

At this stage, Wilders power is overrated. Chisora took the power from Vitali all night, Haye put him down because he threw a peach of a left hook and followed up with a punch perfect combo. Chisora still got up.

Does Wilder have it in his arsenal to throw shots like that? No.
This will go beyond 5-6 rounds and then it becomes interesting.

Chisora will sit on his chest all night. Same he did to Helenius and Vitali. Takes a UD.
i feel the same way. chisora is a strong lad & is tough to move when he's leaning on you. he was able to push around vitali & helenius but his lack of punching power & speed hurt him. he can take a shot too. the haye combo that put chisora out would have flattened most HWs. chisora is better built to fight bigger guys as his lack of speed will kill him vs smaller HWs. i still haven't seen much from wilder. yes he caught audley with a good punch but he hit him when he was down several times & fell on him. terry o'conner was the ref as well. harrison was hurt but he should have been given time to recover & wilder should have had a point or 2 taken away for the late punches. he hit him when he was down before he fell on him & took 2 big swings after he got off of him. chisora has been in the ring with some of the best HWs in the world. wilder has lots to prove. this is a good matchup but i'm really not sure what to think of wilder. i said the same thing about fury, price & mitchell.how will they hold up when they are hit by a real HW punch by a heavy handed Hw? mitchell & price both failed. fury has been dropped twice & got up but pajkic & cunningham are not exactly heavy handed. how will wilder hold up when he fights someone who can take his punches & will be in his chest all night? chisora could be that guy. chisora has good experience & most certainly will test wilder. this would be a matchup i want to see. chisora is a solid gatekeeper...

i picked chisora by decision but i really don't know what will happen. i was totally convinced stiverne would get killed by arreola. i had seen stiverne fight several times & saw nothing special other then a nice come from behind KO of ray austin. i gave him credit for that but no way did i see the arreola result coming. i've got 20some wilder fights & i still don't really have a good read on him. beck, manswell & beck are not exactly world beaters but those are the best guys he's beaten. many questions to be answered yet...

I agree. I mean I'm not going to say Wilder doesn't have the power or a big chance to win, but won't KO big Del in two rounds. Dereck is as strong as a bull, he's a lot heavier than Wilder so won't be pushed around. Also, I think his speed is underestimated. He looked pretty fast vs Haye IMO. He just lacks that power. But he can hurt people when he puts his punches together. We saw that against Helenius and in glimpses vs Haye and Vitali.

I'm not sold on Wilders chin and there are question marks about his ability to go 10-12 rounds. I'm really looking forward to this fight, and as I said before if Chisora wins, he'll be looking at a shot at Wladimir. If Wilder wins he'll be looking at a top 10 ranking most likely.

                  Win-win for fans.

You're acting like 95% of people on this site didn't believe Price was going to smash him. People even said it was a cherrypick. I said straight after the loss that maybe Price wasn't as good as I thought. But I'm happy he manned up and took the rematch. Lets see what happens.

So get out of here with that. I'm not even a fan of Chisora, but I think he's good to have around the HW division.
