Manny did this in 09/10 then we have a fight. Let's hope this is the 1st step to finally getting the fight we want. But make sure everything you ever posted about testing meaning being scared is either withdrawn or reposted.

I have always agreed that Pac should have agreed early on but the difference is I see how both these guys have played a role in the fallout. Some thought Floyd was scared but I saw the entire situation as a power-play between two prima donnas with huge egos. Both have thrown wrenches into things. It happens in Corporation's all the time. They each feed off the negative and then things blow up.

This right here is pure comedy. To see the uninformed *******s celebrating this is ridiculous. Manny has the AUDACITY to claim he wants to clean up the sport. In 2010 this fight was 50-50, MGM Las Vegas, 8oz gloves, $10 million per pound, and random USADA testing up until the day of the fight. That is what was on the table. Guess which stipulation caused the fight not to happen? Mayweather went back to him last year, 2 years later, and offered him the same previous stipulations with the exception of the 50-50 split. It was $40 million, Manny said no. Manny has since looked horrible against Marquez in their 3rd fight, lost to Bradley, and was KO'd by Marquez. NOW he wants a SMALLER fighter in Rios to be tested by the same agency his promoter said was no good. Now should he get past Rios, does his fans think he deserves a 50/50 split? I certainly dont think so. Do they think he deserves the $40 million that Floyd offered him? NOPE. But you can bet Manny, his team, and his fans will SPIN IT like Floyd is avoiding the fight because he wont agree to monetary stipulations that were negotiated 3 years ago prior to him losing twice.

I'm also one of those who has never claimed Floyd runs in fights. I was a fan of his for over 10 years. His in-ring behavior is Genius......no one should ever take that away. He made Guerrero look like he was going to trip over his own feet. Whenever someone says a Floyd runs, I always point out how that is not really possible if the guy who is so-called running is outscoring the other guy. If a fighter cannot cut off the ring, that is his problem. Floyd and Whitaker always spend a good portion of a fight, fighting in the pocket. If you cut Floyd off, he is great at infighting from the ropes. But he and Pac have both added to the failure of their fight.

Wrong. They didn't even discuss the back end. Floyd was offering PAC a $40 Million gauruntee.

Which is a certain way to kill the fight. Remember Pac was far more accomplished than Floyd while Floyd like to fake retirement and vacations to avoid tough competition.

When you offered $40 million someone like Pac which is far more accomplished than Floyd and dealing with Nike, HP, Hennessy, etc... compared to Floyd Lame Soda, it should be Pacquiao doing the offering not Floyd.

Floyd $40 million (100/0 PPV) offer was ridiculous and was designed to kill the fight. By that time the fight can generate 3 times more than Floyd he offered to Pac. Floyd will earn around $60-80 million compares to Pac $40 million not to mention the other cuts (Roach 10% share and Arum shares). Now how much money Pac will be left after all these cuts?
