They will not make this fight -- unless it's fixed...
Yup pretty much, this fight will generate most interest than anyone else.
Who out there at 147 is there, Devon Alexander and Timothy Bradley aren't going to do a single thing to Mayweather!
Mayweather should take this fight now instead of later when the demand for it gets even bigger and Mayweather gets even older, goes in his favour if its now and not later.

Yup... Floyd was the highest ranked welterweight..... Guerrero, the highest ranked welterweight contender... so yeah... Guerrero was next in line.

      and next is.... JMM
      next is.... Bradley
      next is.... Pac
      next is.... Alexander

Why is it frustrating for you that Mayweather is so dominant, even the closest competition don't have a chance?

You call him a cherry picker and demand he move up weight.... otherwise he is ducking.

I'll tell you what... lets apply that same logic to Canelo...

      next in line is... Molina
      next is.... Trout
      next is.... Smith
      next is.... Baysangurov

How are his closest competition any challenge.... He shouldn't cherry pick either... He should move up to fight Geale, Golovkin, Quillin, Sturm.

All would be the biggest fight of his career... he could sell ppv.... he could demand the majority of the purse....

Yeah... Canelo can wait his turn

Floyd hasn't snatched a 0 since Hatton. He's long overdue.

Floyd has enough power to demand for a fight day weigh-in. Ray is totally right though. The best time for Floyd to fight Canelo is this year, not next year or the year after. Canelo has all the physical advantages. I hope they can make it happen later this year.

Ur actually comparing Canelo to Guerrero? lmfao. Canelo will hurt floyd when he lands, no doubt. Guerrero had feather fists for punches

If Canelo is going to come in at 173, Floyd might as well fight Ward. Just have Floyd come in at 147 and Ward at super middle in a Fight Night-style interdivision matchup. lol

He can try as hard as he like but sooner or later he has to realize he's in no position to be demanding anything. Mayweather is still the man in boxing every sense of the word, and Canelo is still on the rise. Put 17 dominant years into the game and then open your mouth about demands. Kid gets on my nerves more and more everyday.

You've not seen what JMM said about the potentiality of fighting Mayweather again I guess... Basically people don't forget how one sided it was is there any point of it happening again is what he was saying!

Then you have Timothy Bradley come on!!
He barely beat Prodovinikov and he lost to Pacquiao does this cement his legacy isn't he on a gigantic pay deal from Primetime shouldn't the fans be entitled to the best fight out there possible he's on ALOT of money.

Pacquiao and Alexander dude seriously.... I give up

LOL at Canelo making demands and conditions at the same time.
He even says he's not even considering going to 147lbs when he has had a career fighting 147lbs fighters. How pathetic?

This dude just had 40 000 people paying $10 each and now he thinks he's all that? The gate takings were not even $1m and now he thinks he's somebody?

canelo in realty is a middleweight barely making 154 as it is. he's really suppose to be fighting at middleweight.

                      147?
If that's the case why is he calling out a welterweight? Floyd has every right to dictate the terms, he's in that position. You cannot challenge someone then say what you're not going to do.

One last thing about Floyd fighting at 154. Both Cotto and Oscar moved up to 154 over time, whereas Canelo is naturally much bigger and has to drop considerable weight to fight at 154, so he much much bigger than Floyd. Secondly, Floyd's worse two performances were at 154, No reason to fight there. But we are all speculating about what he will do. To me Canelo is more popular than good. He has only fought one top guy in his weight class and is trying to dictate terms. The only guy who HAD even the smallest leverage was WAS Pacquiao. Canelo has nothing.
