I've always been under the impression that Mares gives Rigondeaux much more trouble than Donaire does, even before Rigo outclassed Nonito.

Mares cuts the ring off much better than Donaire does, mixes up his combinations better, and knows how to apply intelligent pressure.

This fight should be nothing short of awesome.

I'm diggin' the idea of this fight more and more. Rigo handled Donaire, a top-five P4P fighter, with ease. But, as the saying goes, "styles make fights." As it turned out, Nonito didn't have the tools to take the fight to Guillermo. Mares possesses those tools. He'll pressure Rigo much more than Donaire could. Will it be enough? I don't think so...but it'll be fun to watch unfold.
