    Rigo, easily.

Mares is a top fighter, but Rigo is simply another level.

Mares deserves props but he is tailor made for a Rigo schooling no chance in hell would be a nice UD for Rigos resume imagine having Mares and Donaire in there before 15 fights LOL Now Donaire vs Mares that id like to see .

Mares until he loses. Too much people don't give Mares his credit, he wins, no matter what.

As opposed to Rigo who is accustomed to losing?

I think Rigo takes this. MAres will provide a tougher test than Donaire did because he is a natural come forward fight who knows how to set up attacks, cut the ring off and close distance properly. But it wont be anything Rigod hasnt seen before. A few laser left hands early to make Mares unsure about coming forward. Some shifty footwork to make Mares unsure how to close the ring off. Cruise to a UD

It is blasphemous to claim otherwise

I think rigo gets caught by Mares. Also Mares is gonna be in there for all 12 rounds he's a tough kid. What people are forgetting is Donaire was uncomfortable as a pressure fighter, he's more of a counter puncher and Rigo is the better counterpuncher. That fight sort of had the same formula as May vs Marq. Mares is more comfortable applying pressure and cutting off the ring than Donaire. That's the key difference and what would win Mares the fight.

I would take Rigondeaux but Mares would give him trouble. I would expect the pressure fighter version of Mares to show up because I seriously doubt Mares would be able to outbox Rigondeaux from a long range. I expect this to leave more openings for Rigondeaux to counter off of but if Mares manages to rough Rigondeaux up and get him out of his comfort zone, it would be very interesting.

Mares would try to fight Rigo like he fought Moreno (which was brilliantly by the way)...there would just be one MAJOR difference...he would HAVE to respect Rigo's power. Moreno is a brilliant boxer but doesn't have power. And that folks, would be the difference. Mares would try to bully the boxer and likely get stopped. But I think he'd do better than Donaire did and could possibly catch Rigo...just wouldn't count on it.

                  Rigo is just too good...
