lol Ric Flair is still doing appearances isn't he? Hogan?

He would never have his chance beacuse he was good amateur wrestler, he joined UFC beacuse of his "career" in that circus for red necks called WWE
Again your right such a horible sport giving the fans the fights that they want to see even if is to a guy who beat the world champion and earn the title and difends it.
Well thank God Rigondeau is in boxing and he's gonna fight other excelent and equal competition like Mares to see who is the best.Oh wait he's not going to

OK than watch your great sport, considering UFC standards I'm pretty sure Vin Diesel or The Rock will be your next champ

I'll stick with Rigo and others who acutally had to work hard to achieve something in this sport

Junior Dos Santos tore through the whole UFC roster with practically nothing but very basic boxing, being able to gauge distance. Most of these guys knew they'd get wrecked standing but they couldn't shoot because he controlled the distance with his jab & footwork.

The reality is if Fury learned how to sprawl he'd wreck any MMA chump and whats to say a boxer can't land? Or he doesn't time a kick/knee?

The reason these guys get taken down is because of their stance. Say what you like but you'll never see me getting double legged by a guy who shoots from a mile away.

Do you know how many wrestlers including a NCAA division champion I've seen unable to take a complete novice down let alone keep them there? I seen a novice under/over Jeff Monson & have him on his back ffs
Its because they don't know submission defense, they don't have to pace themselves etc etc

The reality is any clown can do MMA and they like to convince themselves its just like Street fighting and it makes 'em 'ard. Two bit, undisciplined bully boys only fit for picking on the weak for most part.

Did you not see a fat, 40yr old Mayorga who has virtually zero MMA training at the weekend who didn't even train for the fight? He more than held his own even on the ground he wasn't out of his depth but it wouldn't matter who he beat MMgAy fanboys would only say the MMA fighter was a bum anyway.
The reason why Junior Dos Santos could win so many fights with boxing is because he has great Take Down Defence and footwork. So he can keep the fight standing, furthermore he is a black belt in BJJ, so he doesn't worry if the fight goes to the ground.
If you think Tyson Fury has a chance to survive longer than 40 seconds against Cain Velasquez, you are crazy.

I think the self-life of WWE wrestlers is short because it's an entertainment, rarely do characters remain in TV shows for 10-15 years.

Also, Lesnar had a good background in wrestling and never really embarrassed himself. He didn't have that much time to transition to MMA and White is a smart guy, think of all the WWE fans who moved over to MMA that one night to see that fight and possibly stayed - great marketing strategy.
