  • This fight will be Pac-Margarito all over again.

The only thing good about Rios is that he has the best chin around 140. He's too slow, has no head movement and would get outpointed in every round vs Pacquiao.. HW's can punch and move their heads faster than Rios lol

This won't be a KO, but it might stop on cuts.

      • I don't think anyone will make the arguement that Rios is technically sound or can move like Pac but he does come forward like there's no tommorrow. He will push Pac to the limit like Margarito did. Lets not forget there was a round where Marg hurt Manny towards the end of the round it was round 8 I think. That was a Pacman that trained hard. If Pacman gets into that tough spot with Rios will he be able to make it through without getting KO'd? There is a chance he doesn't so that's why this is an acceptable fight despite the mismatch in skill sets. Pacman should look brilliant against a straight line, flat footed fighter like Rios. But will he look brilliant, that remains to be seen.

          • SMH @ these boxing experts think defensive fighter = skills and offensive fighter = no skills.

Floyd is a good defensive fighter but you rarely see him fights offensively. Pac is a good offensive fighter but you rarely see him fights defensively. It is a two sides of a coin.

A deal for Pacquiao-Rios was announced on Monday. The fight takes place on November 23rd at the Venetian in Macau, China. HBO Pay-Per-View will carry the event.

Hopkins believes Pacquiao is a finished product and will never be the same after suffering a brutal knockout in the sixth round of his fourth fight with Juan Manuel Marquez last December. [Click Here To Read More]
It'll have been almost 12 months since pac has been back on nov 23. I think he'll be more than rested and ready to put rios away easily. Rios won't be able to handle the flurries but it's possible pac's chin could get checked, should be a fun fight.

Rios won 60+ fights in the AM's I don't think you can say he doesn't have any skills.

Your another adding your thoughts into what Bhop said , all he said was Pac is brave , the rest of the justification of Rios as an opponent you created in your head .

Maybe somebody should ask Bhop a few more probing questions regarding the fight to get a clear idea of what he thinks about , assuming is not accurate .

Its ridiculous how the new generations of boxing fans read things into whats not said .

Thats what most people who don't know boxing but want to think they know boxing say.

Its like the people who hate big blockbuster action movies and like independent or foreign films so it makes them look more intellectual, some people like both, the elitist are the worst.
