- Lost to Ortiz who couldn't miss every time he threw something
- Berto was criticized for having a weak resume for the longest time
- PEDs free
- Weak defense. Not hindsight. See Ortiz fight as an example.
- Never beat anyone noteworthy

Not only that. After Berto stopped pretending to be Floyd, he kept on connecting on Guerrero and made it a tight fight. Meaning, Guerrero is very hittable!

Hindsight?
- Floyd has better defense than Berto
- Floyd is more accurate than Berto
- Floyd has a better resume than Berto
- Floyd beat Ortiz who beat Berto

Guerrero had basically one plan against Berto. It worked but Guerrero is still slow and has little movement. Not good if fighting Floyd!

As far as talent; Rios and Alvarado are pretty much the same fighter. Plain and simple Rios is the bigger name, period. It's not like mile high KO'd Rios in 1 round and is now being overlooked. If Rios-Alvardo fight again its still 50/50. I do think Alvarado deserves the opportunity to make serious money but I'm ok with Rios-Manny. Besides, Alvarado is adamant about making his first defense in Denver.

Go reread what I said. Berto started off pretending to be Floyd. That was the difference.

After that, it was closer! Berto was clueless defensively but he kept on catching Guerrero on the inside. Even though he did OK, Guerrero didn't need to be on the inside but that was his plan and he was sticking to it because of his concern of Berto connecting with his shots on the outside. Right there is all I needed to see and know about Guerrero ...... NOT a good candidate for Floyd!
