This belongs in the My Little Pony and Care Bears forums.

This can only come straight from a Pacquiao fan.

I know guys, the comparison is uncanny. I was wondering why I was getting so much backlash for that post but then I realized that Pernell was stopped by a street side window washer on ESPN and Canelo hasn't. I was referring to Canelo's impressive defense though guys.

His defense does reminded me a little bit of Sweetpea, but you're right Canelo hasn't been stopped by a Day laborer with 10 losses infront of a crowd of 60 people on FNF

I laugh at 9:30 'muh shoulder' while taking clean left hooks to the face.

So all of a sudden this so called pfp king cannot fight at 154. All the talk about greatness and wanting opponents healthy and at their best only applied to fighters he knew he'd beat.

or it could be a case of irrational responses from posters who are so eager to criticize floyd that they over react to any statement or article that paints him in a negative light.

I would be especially careful as a poster, if for example, I had spent a year or so saying a fighter wouldn't fight a certain opponent using only the flimisiest anecdotes as evidence to support that opinion.

SOmetimes the environment on NSB, coupled with personal dislike for a given fighter, creates the perfect atmosphere for speculative, preejaculatory posts designed simply to criticize for a decision that hasn't yet been made. Clearly, criticism at this point is not warranted.

It understandable that fringe fans who just started watching boxing in 2008 would do this type of stuff. But when will the knowledgable boxing fans set aside their pettiness and stop making posts like this. Did you learn nothing last year?

Funny you mention last year. I learned that Floyd can fight at 154 just fine.

Of course you knew floyd could fight at 154 in 2007.

Thats whats so sad-that appears to be the only thing you learned.

Can floyd defend the title against Josesito Lopez? He fought at 154 too.

                      Oh the irony.
