Manny doesn't just get to stay at #2.Right now, Manny in't one of the 2 best ww in the world. At best he's 4th-behind floyd, JMM and ghost. SOme have tim ahead but I think he did beat time regardless of the judge's official decision.

Manny said he was done with JMM, had nothing to prove, then when he couldn't get Cotto to agree to a CW he gave JMM a rematch but made him move up to 147. The context is what makes the loss worse.

Guerrero isn't better than Manny- we agree. But he is higher at ww right now. If you can't admit that then thats on you.

unless manny comes to showtime or floyd opts out of the showtime deal this fight wont happen so its pointless to discuss.

haha, didnt even think about the showtime/hbo thing. good point!

as far as the rankings go, its crazy to have somebody like guerrero ranked over pacquiao.

if mayweather is having 5 more fights, id imagine pac must be 1 of them. the welterweight division is fairly poor at the moment, he cant make 140 and i wouldnt see him fighting any 154lb fighters. having said that i bet he will just do what he did with hatton, fight the top junior welterweights at welterweight.

shade manny just got KTFO by JMM who wasn't ranked at ww while ghost beat the #1 wbc contender and then Andre berto- a former ww champion. WHat credible objective rankings could possibly have Manny above ghost since the berto fight?

Hatton had fought twice at ww before he fought floyd. Minimize it if you need to.

hatton fought collazo at ww and didnt look very good. i dont know who else you are thinking he fought at welterweight before floyd, but thats not the point. im just saying he will probably fight junior welterweights at welterweight due to lack of options at welterweight.

the rankings can say whatever they like, it doesnt change my opinion that guerrero never has been and never will be a better fighter than pacquiao.

I'm sure thats the fight most of us here really want to see anyway.

Marciano's record is for heavyweights - Ricardo Lopez retired at 51-0.....
