hes pretty much confirmed hed fight in september. who it will be is the only thing hes not in a rush to decide. to me it really sounds like hes leaning towards canelo tho.

It seems too soon for another ppv tho. It's only 4 months. And if its not cAnelo people will ***** about it even more. He should either sit out till feb or him and cAnelo sit out and fight in December since its a pretty big fight

Perfectly reasonable, and i'm happy he acknowledge Canelo is a good fighter.

I think and expect Floyd to fight Canelo next. Until then he deserves to enjoy life a little.

I prefer Canelo fixes his issues that we all saw versus Trout. Workrate was low, stamina issues ..... Take on a few more fights against guys like Lara then fight Floyd next year.

Any fan with common sense knows floyd dodges fights regardless of the money.
He turned down career high payday for margarito, turned down another career high pay day in Oscar rematch, Turned down biggest fight in history of modern boxing vs manny, he will turn down huge money vs canelo

Floyd next five fights will be against the likes ortiz 2, Garcia, alexander, Khan, maidana, berto, peterson

Remember when Oscar was the biggest draw in boxing and he fought prime undefeated Quartey, Trinidad, Mosely all in under two years. Then followed it up with vargas grudge match, mosely rematch, and even had the balls to step to hopkins at middleweight. Thats what great fighters do, they fight the biggest fights available

After last nights fight it should be GBP and Richard Schaffer who should not be wanting a Canelo/Mayweather fight. Not yet at least.

The Mayweather that completely took apart a very good boxer in Guerrero would do the exact same thing to Canelo. Canelo would not find Mayweather all night. Lets be honest, I like Canelo, and he did beat Trout, but in no way did he dominate him, and in that fight Canelo showed his stamina has a lot to be desired. If you're going to be a threat to Floyd you cant be having stamina problems.

30 months is a long time. They should be aiming to be one of Floyd's last contracted fights on Showtime because from what we saw of Floyd last night he's still the best and Canelo is still not ready.
