But Floyd don't get dropped AT ALL. I respect and am a fan of JMM and that Katsidas fight impressed me much. To say Floyd is not better because he doesn't get dropped like JMM is ridiculous to say the least considering the man don't get dropped. Now you're trying to discredit JMM as a fat light weight but that same fat light weight Manny wanted to fight after Floyd did but got a mild boxing lesson in the 3rd then got KO'd in the 4th fight. Trying to give Manny props by saying he is a challenge to Mayweather is ludicrous considering Mayweather at 36 is still an impeccable boxer while Pacquiao has been declining and getting exposed and he is younger.

Manny walked straight into a right hand and he is supposed to have Mayweather scared? Never made sense to me. Manny doesn't even have defense or answers for counter punchers. I'm done with this debate because it pisses me off that the fight didn't happen but happy Marquez got the chance to KO Pacquiao because he actually deserved it more.

The thing about Floyd is despite him being practically a living legend, you just wanna see him pushed in a classic fight where he has to step up and deliver an ATG performance but right now no one can touch him so he easily out thinks his opponents, he doesn't have to really dig deep down to pull out a spectacular win against these guys, Maybe Pac or perhaps Canelo could be that kind of fight but with Floyd's ring IQ I doubt it.

Likely won't happen. You will get arguments from Maytards why these fights shouldn't happen. They will accept fights with Ortiz, Guerrero, and in the future Khan with no problems. Somehow in there minds there are a millions of reasons why fights with Pacquiao are pointless, even actively argue why this fight would be a tragedy if if WERE made, but they gobble up the marketing that a fight with Ortiz or Khan for example are MUST HAVE fights with TOUGH WORTHY KILLING MACHINES. Its this active need to argue that the fight shouldn't be made with Pacquiao that defines a Maytard.

You may well be right. But bad examples. PWill took a ton of clean punches vs Lara without getting dropped. Lara probably would have done the same to him at any point.

RJJ never had a great chin, but never got hit very much till his reflexes went. It wasn't his chin that failed him vs Johnson, he took more punches in that fight than he'd taken in years. He was on the way to losing a decision, that's how far he'd fallen very fast.

Its great that you can take a quote out of context, but does that change the fact that it took 4 tries to pass the pacquiao test? Serious question. You are trying to illustrate that Pacquiao holds the 4th fight as a final verdict. I am saying that 1 out of 4 does not make you better. If you want to hold that quote as a final verdict on how to measure, feel free to be selective on quotes to hold as measuring sstandards, but regardless of your quote, let us not suspend logic and math and say 1 victory out of 4 is major accomplishment. Yeah he "done him off with one punch in the 4th fight. On one hand you are magnifying the greatness of Marquez to do it in one punch but at the same time the fact about the "4th fight" is still in there which has been point all along. Again more noise, that does nothing to actually make anything I said wrong. It is only in the mind of a pacquiao hater that there is this widespread memo that every pinoy got a hold of to squash there opinions of a marquez victory in order to keep their iden******. The possibility of them seeing a close fight in the 3rd fight (where pacquiao got a split W is not existant) it is only based on this widespread threat that everyone heard and paid attention to. Do you really hear what you are saying?

All this is your opinion because everything I posted is actually true. Manny in his heart didn't believe he beat JMM like he was supposed to. The majority of the sport of boxing thought that Marquez won the 3rd fight. Manny got knocked out in the 4th. Marquez is better. Manny won 3 times and in them 3fights did he put on a dominant performance against JMM? NO... and those are the facts. How am I a Pacquiao hater when everything I am stating actually came out of his mouth or actually happened? You're just a hurt fan.

Typical pacquiao hater. In there mind it is more commendable to be in a weight division for over 4 years and challenge smaller guys bloating upwards like floyd does. You want to illustrate that pacquiao is somehow lesser because he won't move up to JR. Welterweight. Its essentially saying shame on pacquiao for not moving up. But not saying shame on Cotto for not going down then attempting to make a point out of it. No cries of Floyd doing wrong by not fighting Ward or Martinez by going up in weight, but shame on Pacquiao for not going up in weight. Typical pacquiao hater.

at 147 or 140, there isn't a fighter than can really push Floyd other than Manny. At 154 I think Canelo vs. Floyd would be a great fight. Honestly though, outside of Canelo and Manny who can win more than 2 or 3 rounds against Floyd?

I never said anything about being technically sound. My point is that JMM and Floyd do not fight similar at all despite both being counterpunchers. And you kept buttressing my point, and then concluding that yes, Floyd is simply a better version of JMM, like on autopilot

You just knocked over some strawman, I'm not gonna bother too much. Of course Floyd is faster than JMM, or course he's also a counterpuncher. But he's not just a bigger better version of JMM, they fight totally different. JMM is an offensive fighter, Floyd is defensive. That's a fundamental difference.

I didn't see this reply. My bad. Marquez is offensive but Floyd is more accurate. Floyd has the highest connect rate in the sport and can stop opponents so a KO over Pacquiao would not be out of the question. Floyd is more defensive than JMM which will also give him a better chance to not get hit by anything significant from Manny like Marquez, but landing at will when he sees an opening which Manny makes often. Ain't about just throwing punches but more making them count when you throw them.
