I agree with all the previous posters who say that Khan would like for Peterson to win this tournament because he doesn't want to risk facing a dangerous puncher in either Lucas Matthysse or Danny Garcia who could expose that chin of his.

My prediction is, if Lamont Peterson is not one of the co-finalist for this 140lbs tourney in December, then expect Khan to move up to 147 and challenge Devon Alexander for his IBF welterweight title. That's of course if Alexander successfully defends his title against Lee Purdy

He couldn't manage to spectacularly KTFO either of Judah or Devon as he apparently would against any fighter in the history of boxing according to this forum so who's to say he'll run over Lamont who may well be his toughest opponent to date?

Either way we shall soon find out. It doesn't matter if Khan or anyone else is sleeping on Matthysse. The only one that matters right now is Lamont Peterson. And you can bet your house on him not sleeping on Lucas.

If anything the one that is being slept on is Peterson. Apprently Matthysse is going to easily KTFO both of Lamont and Garcia so if anyone is being slept on it's Lamont.

Why is everybody **** riding Lucas these days. If Lucas can't put Lamont away he will probably lose the decision as has the case been the last couple of fights where it has gone 12. And I don't think Peterson is getting knocked out
