Floyd was excellent. Sure, I'd like to see someone be able to punish him, hurt him, or even be able to box with him, but it isn't happening, maybe ever. He has five more fights, and I think it's safe to say...that unless you have the energy and urgency to deal with him for 12 entire rounds, it's over, he's an undefeated legend. Your best chances are to hurt him, and maul him, but never try to box with him. The name of the game is hit and don't be hit. Floyd's the best at it.

Guerrero looked lost out there. Floyd was his usual self. Calm, quick, defensive, and potent. I was upset by the constant clinching and grabbing of Guerrero's arms, but other than that...Guerrero just couldn't hit him either way, and Floyd was able to connect whenever he wanted.

Mmm I read this and think of Roger Mayweather saying in reply "You don't know **** about boxing!"

Bradley could make an interesting fight, Canelo could present a challenge, but Sergio is the real guy to fight here. Will he come down to 154 after all the problems he's had on the last fights?
        Bradley gets embarrassed IMO.

His style is perfect for a Mayweather clinic, and he has no power either. After seing him getting wobbled several times in his last outing, I think he would get hurt and then stopped by Mayweather.

Absolutely class performance by Mayweather but Guerrero's spirit was broken in that ring and he was a real disappointment.

Mayweather did what was expected against the guy who went tooth and nail with the Berto hype.

People need to always go with their first instinct when a match-up is made. When it was first mooted, right after the Berto fight, everyone thought the fight ******.

Months later, they've convinced themselves that Robert had a chance.
Yeah, it'll be more of these type of opponents too, no live threats.

I thought he did well in the 9th considering he was hurt in the 8th but Mayweather started catching him well again towards the end of the round, couldn't give the round to him.

Guerrero was in serious trouble in the 8th. He was hurt, he did nothing but cover up to survive and he was clearly in pain.

If the hand didn't get hurt, he was getting stopped.
Not likely. One has to literally walk into his punch for him to get a knock out.

Guerrero turned up for school tonight and he was made as dunce. Mayweather should retire because I don't see anymore worthy opponents. Pacquiao still seem challenger however obviously there's conflict between both promotional companies.

                    • Not a great fight but it was great to see that Floyd is still at the top of his game and his skill is still incredible to marvel.
