Of course he is too big. Canelo is bigger then Martinez. I am tired of fighters doing this cheap bs as well. Fighting in a weight class they shouldn't be in just to have a size and power advantage against fighters who naturally fight at that weight class. Mayweather and Manny are natural WW but they could have easily campaigned at 140 if they wanted to. Canelo really should be fighting at 160. Even though Canelo can make 154 you can tell that he needs to move up because he is gassed after every little combination he puts together when it starts to get to the middle rounds.

Looks like Floyd fans finally found an excuse they can stick with.

I can see Floyd wanting to stay at 147 but I can also see Floyd wanting stay at 147. Whats crasy is Floyds been at 147 since 06/07. You would think his body is aching to move up yet he still comes in under 147.
That makes him even more dangerous, IMO. He can catch Floyd when Floyd least expects him to throw anything.

Floyd is a gym rat. Hopkins was like that too ... he was fighting at the same division for a long time but it had more to do with his all year round work ethic ..... once he decided, he easily made it at the higher divisions.

Floyd can fight at 147 or 154.

Imagine, Cotto fought the big Trout and rumors have it that he may fight Canelo too. So the question is, if the loser can fight those two guys then why can't the winner, Floyd?

Floyd fans protect their fighter way too much. Don't you want to see your fighter be able to take some risks?

Actually, at this point in time, Canelo is still learning and has stamina issues so the risk is not as high as people think it is.

Thanks to you fighting like a wimp last month, Canelo is suddenly this "elite" and "most avoided" fighter at 154.

How can Trout say that Canelo is "big", when Trout himself has fought at 168 in the beginning of his career.

Again, dude just needs to shut up. I dont wanna hear ANYTHING else from him.

He fought a Mexican, in TX, with 3 judges that he didn't approve of, in front of 38k fans, with no rematch clause, and in frontof a bunch of boxing Gods who wanna see Mayweather vs Canelo...and yet he still found a way to fight like a wimp.

                Just go away Trout...
He's giving his opinion.. Damn you sound like a lil whiney ass *****..

Floyds own people stated in the documentary while showing the cotto fight footage.

Imagine what would happen if Canelo can timed and catch Floyd while he's relaxing off the ropes with a punch like this one. I know that he's not as skilled as JMM, but he's very crafty and has enough accuracy to land a punch like this one on Floyd. Cotto landed a few good jabs on Floyd, but he did most of his damages when he had Floyd trapped against the ropes. Canelo is a stronger and arguably more accurate version of Cotto.
