Khan was weaknesses, and isn't an elite fighter, but his resume speaks for itself. He's never been afraid to get in the ring with big punchers, despite his chin, and always puts on a show.

He's a credit to boxing and actually makes the sport worth watching, unlike Ward, Rigo, Mayweather etc.

oh shut up, my whole family history is british. People don't like Khan because the guy is an asshat... period. Ricky was my favorite fighter and I think Lewis is one of the best HW's of all time. Khan is just a peckerhead and the only show he puts on is wobbling around the ring when he gets rocked or KO'd.

Watching Floyd, Ward, etc. is like watching pure boxing perfection. If you can't appreciate their skill then you suck and knowing what the sport is actually all about.

If you're British, you'll know that we love a good loser over here more so than a champion. Look at how popular Bruno was, Eddie the Eagle became a national icon and our media criticizes the successful.

Kahn lives down the road from me in Bolton and seriously, the reason ppl dislike him from my experience is racism. I've heard it first hand. I'm not speaking for the UK as a whole.
