Richard Schaefer told Dan Rafael He wants to put in Danny Garcia in with the winner of Matthysse vs Peterson in september. Then stage the winner agains't Khan in December. If Khan beats who ever it is in December and that's a big if he might get that fight in the UK agains't Mayweather.

That's exactly what's going to happen.

If Thurman beats Diego Chaves he becomes the WBA #1 contender for Paulie's belt. If Broner beats Paulie that belt will be vacant and Thurman will fight for the vacant title.

Maidana is currently the #2 contender so it will be Thurman vs. Maidana (#1 vs #2) for the vacant WBA title.

Ain't it funny that Maidana avoided Thurman when he was still getting his feet wet at WW? Now Thurman is on the come up and they are in the same lane. Funny how things work out.

GBP got a great thing going in the 140/147lb division. I thought MW was gonna have the best year, but with Sergio out of the loop, it seems like WW is back on top.

Khan sucks. The only reason he's potentially getting the fight is because of his name. Otherwise, he's the Jorge Linares of JWW.

I was looking forward to Thurman/Maidana too. I wonder if Maidana will still take the fight considering it will be for a world title. Assuming they both take care of business vs. Chaves and Josesito.

It'll also be interesting to see two Haymon fighters (Thurman/Lopez) or two
Argentines (Chaves/Maidana) go at it, numerous possibilities. I hope Chaves doesn't turn out to be a dud like Saldivia.

Khan thinks he is gonna fight Alexander and walk through him. If he fights Alexander, he is getting boxed up and will lose the fight. If fights Abregu, he gets laid out cold. By the time Floyd fights him, he will have 5 losses and have been KO'd 3 or 4 times.

That WAS the plan, not anymore. After Schaefer saw Garcia almost lose to Judah and Khan almost get Ko'd again, he is going to move both Khan and Garcia up in weight to avoid them having to fight the Peterson-Matthysse winner. Shortly after the fight in two weeks, we'll get an announcement regarding Danny and/or Khan moving up in weight.
