Umm so Khan will be sitting on the shelf for 18 months? I think Alexander sucks but at this point I'm not even sure Khan beats him anymore.

And why would it be Brook? Brook lost his opportunity when he had to pull out of the Alexander fight.

he has been talking it up ever since the hatton fight. i think he enjoys the buzz that british fans bring to an event, plus people don't seem to be as negatively disposed towards him here as they do stateside.

If this is true, then expect Golden Boy to keep Khan EXTREMELY safe for the next few fights he has.

I doubt a rematch with Garcia gets made. Danny just punches too hard for him and he's getting better and better.

A fight with Peterson would be more winnable for Khan but that's still too risky.

I think Khan has not yet fully recovered mentally from the Garcia fight and he needs more tune ups before giving him a big fight.

Though at this point, Mayweather-Khan doesn't have the luster it would have had. Not that I ever thought Khan would have beaten Mayweather. But more people were divided on this. Now its a consensus that Mayweather not only beats Khan but knocks him out.
