Brook should be over his injury by then and Ramadan is done by end of August so I think Khan needs to prove at welterweight and Brook needs a warm up fight before fighting Alexander because his been inactive due to cancellations and injuries - please folks share your thoughts on this.
I'm all for Khan/Brook as well, at least Khan would have earned his title shot against Alexander. He should just forget about 140.

I think GB told him that he's not fighting the winner of Garcia vs Mattyhsse-Peterson after the fight with Diaz. They probably told him they will try to get him a fight with Alexander instead. I think Amir can beat him.

I like this fight its a good one for us UK fans,Brook handles him relatively easily though,he is stronger, faster and hits harder than Diaz

People forget that boxing is a biz. Khan is a big name and brings big money. His chin isnt great and Garcia et al may well beat him again - although I thought he beat Peterson. This is a good fight for Khan style wise and a good one for Devon career wise, he'll get exposure. No one (in Joe Public) knows who he is, so he can gain some fame.

Khan wins a points decision for me.

Why does Khan have only one eye on Alexander? Did Diaz hit Amir so hard that the other eye is going in a different direction then the one he has on Devon?

                  King Khan! sorry

We will only have to put up with khan and his excuses for a little under a year now as he is running out of ideas for his excuses.
I thought Amir was going to clean up the division then move up and knock Mayweather about, this lot! have now become silly, golden boy promotions are also at risk of looking very dumb.
Amir said before his last fight that all were going to see a different fighter than before, etc, etc. Well against a career long, best days behind lightweight, old at that, I can't see how he could have looked any worse than actually being stopped. Then he insults every one by saying when knocked down, that it was a trip!! Freddie R. must be having a right laugh! But wait there's still a couple of laughs left...I just hope that Amir comes out unscathed because his ability to take certain head shots is worrying, some times he can take full bloodied punches(as in Garcia fight when on the ropes) then nothing more than a tap(inc. Limound) seems to send him funny. All around him should take this on board and think about him and not the money as I sure is the case with all , with maybe the exception of his father

Its a good script: If Khan wins the IBF belt and if Mayweather wins, it could be billed as a welterweight unification.

All this excuse about weight is hogwash. After moving up to 147lbs and getting embarassed by Alexander, Khan will claim the weight was the problem. The reality here is Khan knows Garcia would murder him and Peterson would embarass him almost killing his career.Losing back to back against same fighters would make him look terrible so to extend his career he will go for Alexander and get beat. He will then claim it was the weight and come back to the UK to rebuild then try another shot against someone else. Sadly there wont be any more easy fights for Khan.
I thought I was the only one who recognized that. I hate the way Devon fights, but I favor him over Knan. I'd like to see Khan face Ortiz and Berto as well at WW.
